Blomset Properties has a zero-tolerance policy for fraud. If you've encountered a suspicious listing, fake seller, or believe you've been scammed — report it immediately. We investigate every report within 24 hours.

Report to us AND immediately contact the EFCC on 0800 032 6363 or visit efcc.gov.ng. Also report to your local police station. Do not send any further payments.

✦ Common Property Scams in Nigeria
Double Selling
A property is sold or rented to multiple buyers/tenants simultaneously. The fraudster collects payment from all parties then disappears.
Fake C of O / Title Documents
Forged or stolen land title documents presented to give a transaction the appearance of legality. Always verify at the Land Registry.
Ghost Agents
Individuals posing as licensed realtors or landlords who collect viewing fees, caution fees, or deposits for properties they do not own.
Stolen Listing Photos
Real property photos taken from legitimate listings or the internet, then used to create fake listings for properties the fraudster has no connection to.
Upfront Fee Scams
Requests for "inspection fees", "legal fees", "agreement fees", or "caution money" before you have physically inspected the property or met the seller in person.
Identity Impersonation
Criminals impersonating real property owners, developers, or realtors — sometimes using their actual names and photos found online.

Always physically inspect a property before making any payment
Never pay a "viewing fee", "inspection fee", or "caution money" without a signed agreement
Verify the seller's KYC badge on their Blomset profile before proceeding
Engage a property lawyer to check title documents and conduct a Land Registry search
Be suspicious of prices that seem too good to be true — they usually are
Never send money via personal bank transfer before meeting the seller in person
Check that the person you're dealing with matches their Blomset profile photo
